This is a story about a watershed moment in my life. When I was 7 years old, in the early hours of a May morning, my father died of a stroke. Before that moment life was understandable, afterwards I understood nothing. As a young adult I was deeply disturbed but thanks to psychiatry and my will to recover, I was able to function well after a few years. I was crazy, but now I am normal.
When I went on holiday after my retirement I never thought that the influence of my childhood was still strong. This panel of images was envisaged after I nearly joined my father.
By recreating my memories and dreams here I have found a peace that I did not know I lacked.
